I remember I was in a place of deep struggle when I wrote this song.
I was broke and broken, down and out, I just couldn't see a little glimpse of hope.
Filled with fear of the unknown All around me were desperate people who could do just anything to emerge and somehow I still don't want to loose my dignity it's my heritage.
Now when I look back all my fear has been diffused and all I could remember was I took one step at a time.
This song encouraged me back then and I know it will be to you now.
Suicide is never an option, allow time to heal you. Rome was not built in a day but they were laying bricks every hour.
No matter how long it takes .
Patience will keep you, God will guide you.
